Where is that Wicks guy, anyway?

I'm here. I'm alive. And I am still writing.

I hope your summer was a good one. Mine had its ups and downs. The lose of a hard drive with LOADS of data was probably the low point. But with bits of hardcopy scattered all over the place, along with some ancient backups from the last five years, I've been slowly coming back from the brink.

An aside: an external 100-plus GB USB hard drive is a good thing to have. Really.

Okay, so now I am approaching November and the annual type-fest known as NaNoWriMo. Of course I am taking part in it. 50,000 words in 30 days is definitely do-able. My right hand is showing the early stages of carpal tunnel syndrome, but I am not going to be deterred. Get the wrist brace, avoid needless keyboard action (um, right!), and remain focused on the-

Ooooh, shiny!

Sorry.

Anyway, I'll make an attempt to maintain short bursts of progress reports through out the month, and get this series finished and in print. Trust me, it will be well worth the wait.

Aha, I either forgotten or whatever.

I'll stop selling... you seem to want or need the sort of feedback an LJ type enviroment provides.

That's NOT remotely a negative thing, just different strokes for different folks. [grin]
